Eyes unwavering, she keeps an almost completely blank expression on her face. Korra remembers when she first met the slightly older girl. It's unusual to be treated normally --almost unnerving-- and Korra feels a bit insulted. She's the Avatar. But she's curious who the other girl is, and the quiet almost silent girl with the perceptive gaze, she feels like those eyes know much more than expected they w seem too. It's nice to have another companion, and though she's quiet, Korra appreciated her company.
"Are you the Avatar?"
The soothing presence of the other girl prevents Korra from grinning proudly and declaring it. So she nods quietly, uncharacteristically, and in response the other girl dons a somewhat demure smile.
Though normally Korra can't stand the silence, the uncomfortable silence that surrounds quiet, this is comfortable and opening a eye to face the older girl, she's fallen fast asleep, slouched against the wall, the sound of soft breathing, and her silhouette casti
